2. What Data We Collect

We collect personal data in the following contexts:

  • Employers / Hiring Contacts: Company name, contact name, email address, job vacancy details.
  • Website Enquiries: Name, email address and the content of your message.

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Consent — when you submit your CV via our website, you explicitly consent to us storing and processing your data for recruitment purposes.
  • Legitimate Interests — for employer contacts, we process data to fulfil our recruitment services.
  • Contractual Necessity — where we have engaged with you directly as a client or candidate.

4. How We Use Your Data

  • Matching candidates to relevant vacancies within our network.
  • Presenting candidate profiles to prospective employers (with candidate consent).
  • Communicating regarding opportunities, updates and placements.
  • Maintaining records of recruitment activity.
  • Responding to website enquiries.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Data Sharing

Your data may be shared with:

  • Prospective employers — only where a relevant vacancy match exists and you have provided consent.
  • Service providers — email delivery, web hosting, and CV storage providers who are bound by data processing agreements.
  • Regulatory bodies — where required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain candidate data for up to 2 years from the date of submission, or until you request deletion — whichever comes first. Employer contact data is retained for the duration of our business relationship plus 2 years. Enquiry data is retained for 12 months.

7. Security

All CVs are stored securely and scanned for malicious content before processing. Access to candidate data is restricted to authorised Valtora personnel only. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw Consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • Complain — to your national data protection authority if you believe your rights have been infringed.

To exercise any right, contact us at info@valtora.it.com. We will respond within 30 days.
